Agent talk - wants a new contract - just another greedy footballer.
 
i think if SAF sell veron then we should replace him with aimar, aimar can take EPl like fish to water, he really have some good skill and ability in bag, i think he is made for united, veron slow down our game, but this guy can make us really flying. But singning a striker must be first priority, anything else is bonus.
 
No way Valencia would sell their most influential player, especially as he's only 23 and his best is sill yet to come.
 
Valencia have shown that they dont mind letting their most influential players go over the past 3 years (Lopez/Mendieta). Doubt it could happen though.
 
Its a great idea in theory but the story is on planetoftheirownfootball.com -- so I find it difficult to believe!
 
I wouldnt like him to come (for his own sake),
ppl would be expecting Maradona performances from him every week (Maradona never had a bad day remember) and they majority would get fed up with him after just a few months.
He should save himself the hardship and go somewhere hell be appreciated and not to England where hell constantly be singled out and blambed for everything.
 
If Verón doesnt suit the English game, Aimar suddenly will? Aimar's first season in Valencia was awfully quiet, as he had to acustom himself to the Spanish game. He's a tiny lad, I would not like him to play for Man Utd in spite of his awesome playing ability. Anyway I have a feeling Verón is going to come good, just watch.
 
What are the chances of this going through?
Planetfootball had Utd. signing Gilberto, Ronaldinho, Cannavaro, Nesta and others over the summer. None of those transfers materialised. I doubt this one would be different. There is n o quote from the agent either.

To be fair Aimar is a class player, but we don't need him. Although, if he scores on the Arse the next time they play, I will cheer for him like I would a United player--well, maybe not, but still...
