i couldnt come on here, this is the message i got,

i think it was cause of the many people that come on here, people not even members come on here after game, clogg the place up, make the pages load well slower, and there not even posting on here, i think the cafe should be closed after any man utd match, and you should have a password to get into the site, and if someone wants to come on after a match, there should be a place to register, on a page were it asks for your username and password
 
There is a password and logon, that is how you are able to post. The site used to be closed to viewing unless you registered but the problem is that puts off some potential posters although in fairness the last time it was closed it forced me to register after I'd been lurking and reading for over a year and found myself locked out.

If it becomes a major bugbear after matches then maybe Niall will look at the open door policy again but at present things tend to work pretty well with only the occasional hiccough.
 
Got to agree here that the site was running very very slow last night i think 309 people were on when i logged on.

Another possibility is that Niall was updating parts of the site, or his web-host was performing maintenance on the server.
 
Nah, we only got TV last week, still a bit of a novalty.
 
after the game today......

still couldnt come on here, its really starting to annoy me, the page would'nt even load up, does anyone else get the same problem trying to come on here after a man utd game, i think this site should be closed for members as i've said before, cause wat are the "guests" doing except for taking up lots of space, spaces that already registered members could be useing them to post,

and there there should be a page before you come on to the cafe, were you have to login, and also a place to register,

come onb naill get something sorted out here mate,

and im saying only after matches, not 24/7 that you would need a password to get to veiw this site,

does anyone agree/disagree with my point here, feel free to stick your own opinion in, cause i think its a good idea, people who say its not are just plain stupid

everytime i have come on after a match, it would'nt let me in, every single time
 
Dangercat..maybe its discriminating against you because you are Irish...claim some compensation...you might get it...
 
It was running slow after the Blackburn game.

But when i tried other sites they were running slower than usual as well.

So maybe its not just this site.

BTW im Northern Irish robbo, and anyway, ive already been to the soliceiters, thet said they would get something sorted

so does that mean if you were from the North of Italy you'd be Northern Italian?

or from the North of Spain Northern Spanish?

This labelling shite has to stop ...who gives a feck about this identity stuff...its what is wrong in NI IMO...everyone wants to be Irish or British or whatever...if you go to another country and try to explain these differences they'll look at you like you have 2 heads....a spell outwith that little piece of the world would do you the world of good ya know..it broadens the horizons...something that folk from NI suffer from..insularism...

i was born in n.ireland and therefore im northern irish, its not that hard to understand, is it, ask anyone on here from n.ireland wat there nationality is and they'll say the same
 
I think Admin have to think about only allowing members to acess the site, its too fecking slow ATM
after the game 80 members and 190 guests were logged in at one time
 
I'm making this post, only after trying to login to this site for the past 2 hours...:mad:..all types of weird messages and shit kept popping up....

good idea as ive said, but only after games it should be closed for members,
and wat do the guests do except take up a lot of space that other people could be using to post

You are not being ignored, but there is only so much we can do when Niall is not around. If the problems persist then we might have to look at the bandwidth or the open door policy.

rite, i dont know much about computers & running an internet site, but does this site run of 1 computer just, or can you run it of several, if it was run of more than one comp would it mean it would be faster,

or maybe the computer that its running on needs a break, or it might be outdated
