It'd be a good idea to have a stickied thread in this forum with information on banned posters to save new threads being created everytime someone gets banned. Quite a few posters have vanished under the radar over the past couple of months without a mention.

Not a good idea. Most people who get banned are attention seeking cocks, often returnees and a thread dedicated to them only gives them what they want.

Don't think it does the mods any harm saying who's been banned and why. Sometimes folk have talked to someone a lot and they get kicked off, they deserve to know why they've gone. No need to get pissy with folk who start these threads. I don't see anyone demanding his return or questioning mod authority over it!

His behaviour got us to make some IP checks. The results came back him being banned on three previous occasions.

I can see it being more trouble in the mains though, as there's going to be more outcry about established posters like Addict going (mains posters in general really), than there was about thepanman or iseesaw going, or else some of the WUMs recently ejected from the Newbs.
