Unsung war was for me, one of the best games i've ever played. The entire story was based around you and your squadron being badass fighter pilot's that everybody feared.
The super weapons were fun 'who didn't like have to hit the burner and fly to 5,000 feet before an emp blew you out of the sky!', or trying to shoot down a massive satelite containing seven warheads before it hit a city while dodging solar panels as you shot them off. Then you had the flying through tunnels not that much wider then a planes wing tips.
Great dialogue, with great missions, with great music, with great cut scenes, with a great story line involving treason, espionage and revenge. Having to forget any allegiance with your country after they betrayed you while dealing with your wingman's death. They even had hippy University students thrown into the mix aswell.
