Through ball from Morrison and a shot by Keane blocked on the line by the defender and Cofie finished it off from a yard out

1-0 Cofie, blasting in a rebound after a Huddersfield defender had made a great sliding block on the line to deny Keane.

It's been a bit uneventful before the goal, Huddersfield defending well and in numbers and our players struggling to play through them.

Good to see Petrucci is back in training and looks like hes bulked up a bit aswell

Long ball over the top with the defence trying to play offside to Morrison who controlled and ran through and drove the ball home

Great move started by Hussain playing the ball into King layed off to Morrison whos effort was half saved and Hussain followed up to score

Best news I've heard in a while. Any word on when he's expected to be match fit?

So it ended 3-1 then? Ratings would be very welcome, but thanks for the updates anyway.

It was a bit of a strange game, first half was very tight with Huddersfield playing very defensively and looking for the odd counterattack and we struggled to break them down until the Cofie goal. He should have scored again before half time but after the break Huddersfield had a real go and our defence was a bit nervy and they got a deserved equaliser.

We squandered possession a fair bit in good positions and were too frequently offside and the game could have gone either way until the Morrison goal from a hopeful punt forward and from then we could have scored a few more.

Tunnicliffe was very prominent in the first half and was very competitive. There were a number of crunching tackles but it was played in a good spirit encouragingly. Morrison was the most creative player, involved in all three goals, and Hussain was neat and tidy. Cofie led the line well first half and Keane showed some nice touches.

No idea when he'll be match fit but he was watching the match with Magnus Eikrem with his training gear and boots on anyway

Cheers, jb. BTW, how fast is Will Keane? He's been described as a bit lacking in pace on this forum earlier, but that's hardly the impression one gets from watching the build-up to Cofie's tap-in.

Hes mid paced I would say definitely has enough to get by but most players would look fairly lacking in pace surrounded by Cofie, Morrison and King who are all lightning

Keane looks like Rooney without the physique to me.

Out of the current squad, he resembles Carrick more than Rooney. As mentioned previously, he has a lovely touch and technique and sees a pass. He scores as well so could be a really good goal scoring midfielder as he progresses.

great to hear that Petrucci is on his way back, have missed watching him play.

Have to say, based on the Milk Cup games, I'm not sorry to see Ngoo leave - didn't look up to much. He had a couple of nice flicks, but his first touch was continuously poor and I just could see what he offered the team. Cofie and King look a lot better.

As for Keane, looks a very intelligent player. Reminds me a lot of Sheringham to be honest.

Haven't seen an awful lot of Keane but from what I have thats a very good shout. Intelligent player, his vision stands out alot already.
