Academy vs Chelsea (Away)

1-0 Chelsea so far. Don't suppose anyone has found anywhere to watch this yet?

This is apparently the line-up, according to one of the latest twats*:

Johnstone, Keane, Fornasier, Thorpe, McGinty, Hussain, Tunnicliffe, Cole, Lawrence, Lingard, Cofie.

*Sorry, 'tweets'.

2-2 now, Keane, and United apparently on top.

Assume so, if Will Keane was involved he'd surely have started.

It's Michael Keane isnt it ?

maybe, no idea who's on the bench. Hopefully we go on to nick it after a few disappointing results, albiet to an ever changing team

feck me - cofie again. Could be a big season for him :)

And United wins it
Cofie 3-2

Great comeback by the kids! Will be anxiously awaiting Girish II's H/L's..

Man Utd: Johnstone, M.Keane, Fornasier, Thorpe (c), McGinty, Hussain, Tunnicliffe, Lawrence (Hendrie 80), Cole, Lingard (Barmby 85), Cofie

Goals: McGinty ’37, Keane ’78, Cofie ‘90+4

What would we do without you Girish II? I am recommending you to the Pope, a close personal friend to cannonise you. ;)

whos this cole lad? wearing the no 7, seems quite comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Larnell Cole he came on a lot in the second half of last season. He has alot of ability on the ball and a very good turn of pace he has been used mainly on the wings for the academy team but his favourite position is in centre midfield where he played for the under 16s

I know it is only highlights, but I never noticed how much time and space Tunnicliffe seems to find. His game seems similar to a certain Mr Gerrard.

Michael Keane seems to have improved, since I see him play in the 2009 Milk Cup squad. Cofie has also come on leaps and bounds.

Tunnicliffe reminded me of Roy Keane at Forest in this match. All action, lovely weight of pass, lung busting runs directly at the opposition. Me likey! McGuinness deserves alot of credit I think.

Great ball by Hussain to Lawrence.. Hussain looked good too imo..

so im not the only one impressed with him. looks good (in the highlights) IMO, anyone who's seen more of him? a little report would be nice!

United comeback, we teach them young
Cheers Girish!!

Left footed creative central midfielder with good vision and skill and an eye for goal. He was starting to play well last season but then picked up an injury and in that time Pogba established himself and he was less prominent on his return.

He was one of the standouts of the Milk Cup with Cofie and hopefully can push on from last season. He's a very elegant player to watch when on form.
