A substandard bag of meat and bones.
Kicks off at 11am, team news to follow..

1. Jacob
2. Keane
4. McCullough
5. McGinty
3. Blackett
7. Lawrence
6. Pogba
8. Hendrie
11. Van Velzen
10. Lingard
9. Cofie

Subs:
12. Ekangamene
13. Coll
14. Giverin
15. Massacci
16. Thorpe

Lively start to the game, Van Velzen thwarted by their keeper when he might have rolled it across to Cofie, now a pen won and converted by Lingard (who's captaining the side this morning).

It was a great strike from Cofie after being player through by Lingard, checked, then hit a clean strike from outside the area into the corner.

Lingard has been at the heart of the best United moves in a free role behind Cofie. I've been impressed with him this season.

cofie is a beast
really quick too

I'd be really disappointed if one of cofie/king/keane didnt make it (atleast as a squad player)

Lingard seems to come along very well this season

Any links for this knocking about?

Sorry, mate, there are never any streams for academy games these days. Sucks.

Lingard was very positive against Wigan on Thursday. When (or is it if in his case..?) he bulks uptm we might have yet another very interesting prospect on our hands.

Cofie is an extremely difficult player to play against, as well as the speed, height and power, his manipulation of the ball is very good in tight situations without giving any obvious cues as to what he's going to do (similar to Pogba). It's great to see how his whole game is coming together this year.

Lingards biggest problem is his composure - he is dreadful in front of goal. He needs to learn to put the ball in the back of the net

That's one of the odd things as he took his goal on his debut for the Academy exceptionally well, then has shown none of that composure since! It was only his 2nd Academy goal today.

I didn't know that. Do you watch academy games these days? If so, where? Viasat?

3-1 FT. Good to get back to winning ways and a good team performance with the newer players starting to bed in well (McCullough and Van Velzen), with Lingard and Cofie the 2 best players on the day.

How did Berahino play? His name seems to keep popping up for the England youth teams.

Wasn't it West Brom that Pogba scored a stunner against last season? and Petrucci the season before?

Apparently disgruntled with a lack of games. It seems he may be training at Stabaek.

Good luck to him. From what I saw he was nothing out of the ordinary, and not all the youth players will make it here so moving on is the best move

Good player but a bit unlucky with the fact that his best position is centre midfield and in the same age group we have Tunnicliffe, Pogba and Morrison who are exceptional players. Strangely enough if it is about lack of games he probably has a better chance of getting games now with Morrison and Tunnicliffe moving up to the reserves and Pogba will surely be moving up aswell.

He signed professional forms in the end of January this year on his 17th birthday.
Why would we want him to leave?
Isn´t he just training with Stabæk during a vacation like Eikrem did at Molde?

Where do these rumors stem from? There's nothing in the Norwegian press.
