Petrucci just strikes wide from just outside on his left foot.

Pogba and Cole doing very well in centre midfield. There is a real swirling wind and it's not easy to play, considering that we've played some very good football and the movement has been excellent at times.

Other than Devlin, Petrucci's the 'senior' player so it makes sense.

Another good save from Devlin.

Amazing goal saving tackle by McGinty.
McGinty for Ireland!

1-0 at half time. We've been the better team, but Devlin has had to make a couple of good saves and a great last ditch challenge from McGinty to deny a chance. Good performance so far in trying conditions with a patched up team.

:D

If Brady was fit I would have started him against France on Wednesday

Given the poor state of the Irish u21 side I would have to expect that the likes of Brady and McGinty could be full internationals inside the next couple if years.

It isnt as bad as it looks it fairness. If our manager would stop arguing with his best players a team thats capable of beating spain might have a chance doing better than 5 terrible draws in a row. There a few good players coming through.

Would be easier to send Don Givens on a one way scouting mission to Quebec

very good game considering the conditions. We should have had a penalty and we had one cleared off the line but I suppose it makes for an even more interesting second half now

Hopefully we can keep creating the chances

We've yet to get going this half. Liverpool having most of the possession and carrying the threat. If they are to create anything it appears likely to come from Ince or Wisdom, the 2 wide players.
