That Midfield is

Good to see Keane getting back into goal scoring form.

They really should get Les Kershaw on the commentary more, he's a wealth of knowledge about all the youngsters and lots of fascinating insights.

The linesman has made some bizarre offside decisions, United though have dropped their level in the last 10 mins or so, too many sloppy passes.

Morrison has a great effort off his left foot that the keeper tips over. Great start to the half from United.

Hussain also forces a good save from the keeper.

Morrison showing some lovely touches.

Morrison forces a save from their keeper after a great run, he's looking the main threat alongside Keane this half and United are finding him far earlier in space and he's causing Everton all sorts of problems.

I assume also that Van Velzen's clearance can't have come through unless he picked up a knock midweek?

If Morrison can't forge a good career in football then it will be a tragedy. The talent is unreal.

Morrison hits the bar after a great run

Morrison nearly scored as good a goal as you'll see anywhere. He ran from left to right and from a wide position in the right side of the box hits the bar with a great chip. Desperately unlucky.

4-3 FT

Disappointing result but some great football at times, Morrison had a spell for about 20 mins that was exceptional, also good to see Will Keane back on form.

3 goals from crossed balls is something that McGuinness will unhappy with and will want to address.

Quite.
I thought Pogba looked superb until he had to come off. Morrison's spell you mention was of a very high quality indeed. Keane looked sharp as did Lingard.
I think we missed Cofie the goal machine, frankly...
The defending of crosses was poor but not an insoluble problem for a talented young back 5.
Great match to watch, bar the result..
