United line up. Devlin. R.Brown. Rowley. Wootton. Wilkinson. Ekangemene. Leoa. Harrop. Wilson. Rudge. Gorre

MUFC U18s bench: Barber, Sutherland, Ioannou, Khan, Shields.

Taken from Manutdyouth's twitter account.

Pretty young lineup as expected(most of our academy players are in Italy for the tournament.

Anyone know anything about Harrop and whole of our bench really?

Josh Harrop was in out Marveld-squad in 2010 - don't know too much about him apart from that

Ben Barber and Ryan Shields were also in the Marveld tournament - but this guy Khan I don't know anything about

Any idea if Leao is playing up front again? Must be frustrating for the guy to be played out of position so much, whilst he's trying to make an impression.

what type of player is he ?

When I've seen him play he's been on the wing although he was upfront today. He seems a pacy intelligent player and seems to have great feet, could turn out a bit like our previous Wilson if we've any luck. :smirk:

You mean sold to Boro where he never quite makes it ? :)

It tribalshite but not a bad articlen Man Utd whizkid James Wilson scores on U18 debut | Premiership News | tribalfootball.com
James Wilson signalled his potential with a goal on his Manchester United U18 debut in defeat to Everton.

The 15 year-old striker is playing a year above for England U16s and is regarded highly at United.

"I like Rooney because he plays in the same position as me. He has had his ups and downs like everyone, but I think he can be my role model," said Wilson.

The youngster's Biddulph High School PE teacher Chris Swift told The Sentinel: "James has scored around 25 goals in 20 games for Manchester United's Academy, as well as 60 goals in 25 games for the school.

"He is a special talent who is technically very good and is very quick as well.

"He also has a good attitude. He's down to earth and is also achieving well in his academic studies."

Interesting stats and also interesting he sees himself as a striker, rather than a left winger like most of us thought he was. Wasn't his debut though.
