You can pontificate about the reasons the reds have been so inconsistant for the last season and a half, and it could be down to many things. One of them is finding a team that strings some results together and STICK with those players - y'know like we used to in the old days. Winning is a habit and it's bloody basic. The players know each others position inside out, week in-week out so it becomes telepathic. The current UTD team is riddled with miscommunication and misunderstandings caused by unfamiliarity and unsureity about positional accountability. I know football has come a long way since 93/94, but when you talk about the great double/treble winning teams of the past it was a cohesive, slick passing, collective 11, and not the dis-jointed, desperate and unconfident team that we have seen over the past year. Pick your best team always and stick with it. I think SAF has too much time on his hands, and we're finding out to OUR cost that if he keeps on insisting on chopping and changing, we're in for 2 dissapointing seasons. SAF has done a fantastic job and I admire him as a man and a manager - I just wish he'd admit that he does get it wrong and his bloodymindedness ain't going to win us the league or EC, a winnig team is.........
