Brett if you are truly retiring from football let me be the first to thank you for your passion for your sport.

You are a class act in a day when most athletes believe they are entitled to everything. How you treated my son and my family during our visit to Green Bay is a testament to your character.

We spoke of many things that day including your wifes cancer and my sons condition and all the while you took an active interest in what my wife and I told you and I thank you for that.

You are a Gentleman and I wish you and your family continued success in all your endeavors including your incredible support for children's charities through your foundation.

God Bless

great post. I remember reading your post about visiting brett. Brett Favre is a class act which is extremely hard to find in this day and age. I wish brett nothing but the best, he was and is my all-time favourite football player and not only was he a gentleman on the field he was an even bigger gentleman (if that's even possible) off the field. It is a sad day for not only packer fans (myself included) but all of football. In future years, I will be able to tell people that I was able to watch one of the greatest talents in the history of football play.

well stated mate.. this sad day can only be tempered by a United Win!

I remember when you posted that too. seems like a great guy.
Big loss to the game, though I'm glad he retired now, pretty much at the top.

Hope he stays involved, whether in the studio or some other capacity.
