When I saw the report on the front page of the Sunday papers here, I was as gobsmacked as any one of you. Then I saw the bald head of Brian Ebden as one of the pics accompanying the article.

Now I have only met Brian once a few years ago, at a bar in Cape Town. He is a thoroughly unpleasant fecker if you cross him. Eloquent but nasty. So I don't doubt that he would push his fiance' to sue.

But SAF was in the car, alone. And although brian is a bit of a bastard, I doubt he would be dumb enough to open himself up to a defamation suit.

Just my take on the situation...

Even if Fergie had a little go it was still not indecent assault.

apparently this girl was opening flirting with Fergie all night and others in his party were 'uncomfortable' with what was happening.
she claims he got in her car uninvited. he claims she invited to give him a lift back.
she makes a complaint to police & sells the story to british 'newspapers'. Police then cant contact her for a few days afterwards to go over her statements. her boyfriend (according to police) spoke more during the interviews with them and was more pushing it. she sat there, quiet and did not looked shocked. her boyfriend happens to be in advertising. mysteriously the case has now been dropped.
i ask you who do you think was lying?
Alex should sue for defamation of character.
i hope she never does get assaulted, because it may backfire on her next time. case of the boy who cried wolf and all that.

I'd say thoroughly unpleasant feckers are the types to try it on for a bit of publicity or money.
