A good result IMO

When it comes to two legs, United will have more urgency and hunger, this i am sure of. Also i have never thought United play better at home than away, quite the opposite sometimes. Blackburn will be delighted with this result, and will let it go to there heads. United always play better when the pressure is on and they know what the need to do. Keane and Butt will be back. If we had of won it 1-0, we might have been too comfortable. We will win.

All last night did for me was to remind me just how much I hate Blackburn and the ex-scousers that play for them.

All the horror of their one season wonder antics in 1995 came flooding back. Tho I'd say their current team is better than that bunch of mercenaries who all jumped ship when the relegation battles began.

fecking david fecking Thompson as well. Of all the ex scouse bastards. Poor Gary Neville had three unmarked players around him. What the feck was going on with the rest of the defence?

Okay. Rant over. Please lads beat them comfortably in the 2nd leg.

i hope so Ninja, but im not as confident as you at this stage. its advantage to them.
we need to score twice IMO to be sure of going through. Hopefully in the next match against B'burn its a case of third time lucky

It surely won't be easy now, but I think the fate is still in our own hands. How many times have we got from behind to beat our opponent in the treble year? Now we are just level with them, so if we can produce our character we will be able to beat them in the 2nd leg.

I think we will play better in the next leg, but i think it will be tight, Blackburn play a lot of possesion football, like we usually do, therefore it was always going to be close.

My only fear is our away form. We have won only 2 games away in the premiership this season so far! by our standards that is shocking, we seem to offer teams too much respect now, especially away from home. We will have to turn things around on that front if we are to reach cardiff.

Very valid. Hopefully they'll come at us and we'll be able to counter and get a couple of goals. Far from over but our away form is a worry and not just for this game but the rest of the PL as well.
