I believe we should have a FC United Forum here in the Cafe, just like we have a Manchester United forum.

Now that FC United have got a manager and things are starting to get interesting, I'm sure lots of threads will be started about it. An own forum for the club would be good IMO...

What say you?

No.

Because this is not us v. them. Clearly the people supporting FCUM, although I am not one of them, are still Manchester United fans, in this respect FCUM is connected with MUFC in their eyes (although thats the crux of the matter); we're all opposed to Glazer, this is a means to fighting him, and so shouldnt be seen as a completely seperate institution to MUFC, the principle of that would be a bit shite. Keep the fans together is what im saying, I guess, even if its just a minor thing like an internet forum, further division is a bit dangerous.

I'm all for it getting its own forum, the number of threads on this will increase and it'd be convenient to have them separated. There is no more to be read into such a separation, it wouldn't separate the fans.

I also think that its about time a Reserves and Youth team forum be created rather than having one giant thread each year.

Who said anything about us vs them??

We've got a Manchester United Forum and a Transfer Forum, but it's not us agains the transfer nutties is it? :smirk:

Bad example...

Too many forums makes the site a pain to read. The separation seems fine as it is and provided the FCUM posts are marked as such then those who aren't interested can ignore them and face the consequences if they keep derailing them or griping about them not belonging.

As for the reserve/youth forum, not a bad idea Neil, but again it becomes just one more sub forum we need to moderate. We could do you a deal on a time share with the transfer forum if you like, they have it during the silly season and you have it the rest of the year :smirk: It might actually teach one or two of them that there are other ways to bring in new blood besides bidding for every player rated by some computer game as well :p

There's already too many. What harm would one more bring?

''Gimme my FCUoM Forum'' :p

wish to feck I was 19 i'd go to their open trials and give it a real go...

Tell you what, I'll swap you the Other Sports forum for a Reserves & Youth Teams forum. And the Transfer Forum for FCUM.
