i like puttin acapellas over instrumentals of other songs and making a sort of remix
My girlfriend was in an A Capella band before she graduated this summer and they were pretty good. There's one indian A Capella band in U of Penn called Penn Masala. Bunch of Indians. Very popular all over. Literally all univs. invite them to come perform.

Personally, I think a capella bands are gay.

I like a capella versions of certain songs. A group called 'Rockapella' have done a cool rendition of 'Gangster's Paradise'. I am also fond of Lady Smith Black Mambazo's version of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight'. I don't know of any original a cappella songs. Can anybody recommend some?
'Words' by the Real Group is very good.
