I got a new thingy for holding cds for the car. I'm wondering what the perfect 64 would be, I do a lot of driving and list most genres of music, so with caftards help I'm going to put a bit of thought in covering as many bases as possible.

4. Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
5. Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure
6. Massive Attack - Blue Lines
7. Bob Dylan - Street Legal
8. Love - Forever Changes
9. Can - Tago Mago
10 Faust - Faust IV
11. Bowie -Hunky Dory
12. Leftfield - Leftism
13. Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions

40. Scott Walker - Scott Sings Jacques Brel
41. The Waterboys - Fisherman's Blues

any suggestions?

You could try some Captain Beefheart- any of his first 4 albums.
Do you listen to electronic music? If so, Boards of Canada (Music has the Right to Children and Geogaddi) and Aphex Twin (Selected Ambient Works 85-92) are always good.

I can't really think of any more off hand. I always forget shit when anyone asks for opinions/advice on music.

Statistically you're more likely to be killed picking out a CD whilst driving than you are to be killed by herpes. Think about that.

Not with a 64 disc changer they don't!

He-he, I think one of us has misunderstood. I assumed that he just got a case that will hold 64 CDs, unless he's somehow modified a home system to fit in the trunk, which would be stupid considering the 100 CD changer I used to use at work did nothing but scratch your discs.

Tired Pony - The Place we Ran From

Not out until the summer though.

A list of albums I recently suggested to a friend:

Fantastic Playroom - New Young Pony Club
The Everglow - Mae
Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles
Beyond the Neighbourhood - Athlete
Cansei der se Sexy - CSS
Discovery - Daft Punk
Don't You Fake It - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Agaetis Byrjun - Sigur Ros
Takk - Sigur Ros
Grammatics - Grammatics
Hold Your Colour - Pendulum
Hot Fuss - The Killers
Myths of the Near Future - Klaxons
Pieces of the People We Love - The Rapture
Silent Alarm - Bloc Party
Sigh No More - Mumford & Sons
Hidden - These New Puritans
Take to the Skies - Enter Shikari
Thank You - Canterbury
Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend
xx - The xx

I have no idea whether any of these will appeal to you so the list may be fairly useless.

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf.

Amazing driving music.

Poor old moses would have a heart attack listening to QOTSA. He needs something a bit more mellow. No sudden noises.

You're a man after my own heart Pops. Speaking of Nina Simone. Heathers are supporting her in the Sugar Club soon. Add their album to my list.

Obviously a healthy dose of the Beatles, Waits, Dylan, the Stones, Cash and Young are needed.... that goes without saying....

I'm fairly sure Nina Simone is dead CZ...

I may be thinking of someone else with a similar name so. My bad.

Yes, they're supporting Nerina Pallot. I've been in the library way too long of course it's not Nina Simone they're supporting
