RIP

To all victims of this heinous tragedy.

A massive f-u to the then FA for being as vindictive as possible regarding subsequent fixtures.

Let us always remember that on this day, one of the most gifted generations in football history was lost. Yet, under Busby's leadership, the club persevered. A new chapter was written, built upon the legacy of that day. From that moment forward, the unwavering spirit of Manchester United - rising, enduring, and triumphing regardless of circumstances - became an indelible part of its identity.

Let us always remember that Sir Matt was administered last rites twice, yet he recovered and went on to build a new generation of champions. He refused to let the club fall with the wreckage of the plane. Instead, he rebuilt a stronger Manchester United, forever preserving the memory of the tragedy.

Let us always remember the legendary Sir Bobby, who, despite losing many of his teammates and friends, went on to guide a new team to the top of Europe.

Whatever happens in your lives, rise up and move on.

We'll never die!

RIP Busby Babes

RIP

To all victims of this heinous tragedy.

Was explaining to my daughter how this came about, she asked why would they not move the next game. Simple answer was that they were just being small minded cnuts and didn't want to. A tragedy that could have been avoided very easily by the FA having some common sense.

I also only found out recently that the following season Real Madrid offered to loan Di Stefano to Utd. This move was blocked by the FA, but Real did help Utd raise money for Utd and families of the victims through charity matches and selling memorial pennants. It kind of softened my dislike for Real once I found out about that.

RIP to all.

The most epic episode of surviving and thriving as a club, in the middle of one of the most tragic incidents in the football history.

Thank you for the memories. Also remembered, Walter Crickmer, Club Secretary, Bert Whalley, United Chief Coach, Tom Curry, Trainer and Willie Santioff who was about to join the board.
RIP peace also the remaining 11 who died that day including Frank Swift.

If you ever feel downbeat about the crap team we have now, the story of Munich and the story of Charlton, Busby, Murphy etc. and how they rebuilt from this utter tragedy to still become the first English team to be European Champions will always reaffirm your love of this club. We may have less European success than Liverpool and far less than Real Madrid but that era is why we’re the most iconic club in the world.

RIP Babes.
