......our final ball was a disgrace!!! The amount of times Giggsy lost the ball or didn't get his cross in was unbelievable...great that we're through but playing like that it'll be hard to break alot of teams down......

...Ruudy still looks a bit tired but I think he'll still have a great season.....man was i sorry for Diego!!! What has he to do ffs!!!!!!

Oh and phil neville is the anti-christ....makes me physically sick to watch him play.....

Giggs was Giggs...the guy will miss a dozen or more sitters a season...it's infuriating.
Personally.....I think like Scholes he has grown stale...heresy I know...but true.
Giggs is in the comfort zone...no-one to challenge him...no-one to push him...I think we have seen the best of him unless we can find a way to re-engergise him in some way.

Agreed. I would love to see SAF taking the risk of playing him ahead of Giggs just for one time and see what Giggsy makes of it. Whenever he hasn't played he has either been injured or aware that QF was playing simply to "do the wp time".

He needs a little shake-shake-shake, I'm sure we will love to see how he hits back! :D

At present Forlan is a long, long way before (Fergie beleives that he can )challenge Giggs. Even Fortune, who scores a lot and is a natural winger, never seems to be able to challenge Giggs.

Yeah agreed about giggsy...he seems to be in the comfort zone...he hasn't had proper competition since Lee Sharpe left the club....I'd even like us to play with ole cutting in from the left like he does with norway, and to let giggsy have a free role from midfield.

hmmmm?...can't say...have yet to seen Forlan play on the left?...forgive me if I'm wrong?
4-4-2 rememember...a left winger has to defend also...as Giggs does admirably.
Giggs is an excellent player...he just needs the occasional kick up the back-side to remind him his place in the side is not a given.
You may titter at the loss of Jesper Blomquist(?) and Cruyff and even Pobobrsky in recent seasons...but can you name me a left or right winger apart from Giggs and Beckham that is good enough to make the first team?
Chadwick?.....is that the best we can do?

ya Manchester United had successfully showed which one is the stronger team. But I think MU always had a problems when facing a teams for the first time, They only coming back to blast them in the second and the following meet. This happened often in the Champion Leagues games like last year we faced Deportivo and Bayern Leverkusen.

giggs looked stale eh, the fact he was fighting for every inch untill the final whistle must have escaped a few minds.... scouse minds....
