................................. TEAM ENGIMA .......................................................................................... TEAM ISOTOPE ......................................
Team Enigma:
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Tactics: direct, lot of vertical movement. Overlapping full backs, defensive midfield base of Desailly and Benetti.
Off the ball
Defence:
Two attacking full backs in Gerets and Zambrotta able to contribute in both phases and man their flanks. A defensive base of Alex, Desailly and Stam. When we are off the ball we drop to a 5 man defence with Desailly dropping in and Gerets/Zambrotta covering wide.
Midfield:
Rivera is the main conductor of the team. He's helped by Desailly and Benetti with Benetti occupying the RCM midfield base and Desailly dropping back forming a back three when we're off the ball and stepping in when we recover it. Futre will be stretching the flank but also moving between the lines probing for openings.
Attack:
MvB and Shevchenko are the main attacking outlets. Two Ballon D'or winners at the height of their powers form a frightening duo being fed by Rivera and Futre as creative outlets behind them.
A bit of Futre
and a top notch harms compilation for Rivera.
TEAM ISOTOPE:
The team is making the most of player’s unique strengths:
- Del Piero: Playing in the left half-space of the attack, he’s showing his genius as both a playmaker and a deadly goalscorer. He’s paired with one of the GOAT center-forwards, a big upgrade from his old partners like Vialli and Ravanelli, where he already shined.
- Rui Costa: Always on the move, Rui Costa controls the game from deep, joining attack, and even pops up on the flanks to deliver crosses.
- Frank Rijkaard: The GOAT of defensive versatility. He’s a beast whether he’s at center-back, defensive mid, or going box-to-box. He adds grit, a hub from defence to midfield, control, and domination to the midfield.
