This is how we've successfully lined up, and beaten, Arsenal and Deportivo.

After all the 4-4-1-1 abuse, do we all agree (as if we'd ALL agree on anything) that, against the better, i.e. attack minded sides, that 4-2-3-1 is the winning formation?

Yes, this formation looks working fine.

But where will Beckham play in this formation? I can't think of a place in this 4-2-3-1 formation which is suitable for him. So when Becks return everything may need to change again.

I cant think of any of our lads who couldnt play in it. Becks could play deep (for Veron), or pushed on for Scholes or Ole. I think one of the 2 who sit in front of the defence be a ball player.

Keano or Butt would come straight in for Phil

Diego could fill any of those supporting 3

Happy Days :D

This may be is the better formation:

4-1-3-1-1
