Worth a watch? A friend has a boxset and is of the opinion that John Lithgow's performances alone makes it worthwhile.

I used to like it many years ago. Its funny in a silly, over the top kind of way. Lithgow is excellent. Not too sure it will pass the test of time.

French Stewart? Yeah, I know. His voice and his overall demeanor is why I'm skeptical.

Well worth a watch. I think its aged quite well. It was never cutting edge stuff anyway, just enjoyable, camp, slapstick comedy. Not camp in a Will and Grace way either.

I got the whole set for £10 a while back from Zavvi. It's good in a non-offensive way and if you don't expect a lot, it's well worth a watch.

Forgot all about 3rd rock - had it's funny moments.

Lithgow makes it good with his yelling. They also make jokes about everything since they're supposed to be ignorant aliens. Can get away with it plus everything wasn't as much of a taboo to say on television in America.
