Look at the bright side Elmo. Your club are doing the right thing by selling now and rebuilding for the future. The 30m for Rio and 8-10m you'll eventually get for Bowyer will be money well earned to pay off your debts and buy young players around whom you can build your future nucleus. You can probably still keep Dacourt, and develop Woodgate to replace Rio. This transfer will allow Venables to buy a player or two, which is important for you at this stage imo.

No...completely the same. Except for the bit where Rio didn't ask for a transfer with West Ham and West Ham accepted a bid for him forst and the bit where Rio asked for a transfer and Leeds were forced to sell. So yeah, exactly the same.
