Just finished watching it

How come the story teller bloke carries on telling the story, even after he's buggered off?

Also, why would the politician bloke be carrying Persian coins in his robe? It's not like they'd be of any use

I guess the story teller tells the story because the entire film really shows the story he is telling.

Or something like that.

Oh, and of course you're going to carry Persion coins in your robe, if you leave them at home someone might find them, and then you're proper fecked.

Besides, back then Gold was gold anyway.

1. He was alive Leonidas ordered him to leave before the final stand.

2. The politician had been bought by the Persians, so they would not approve the use of the whole Spartan army

He carries on telling the story though, and then it cuts to a scene of him telling it, but he's telling the part which is after he'd been told to feck off. Doesn't make sense

He could have hidden the coins somewhere. It'd make more sense than carrying a few of them about in your robe. He's hardly going to use them to buy stuff

1. That was a different battle a year after the last stand at thermopylae in which all of Greece united to beat Persia

2. what can you expect its a movie

It cut to him telling the story to the council, then cut to the battle a year later. Not that it'd explain anything either way.

He only had one eye, and he wasn't even there, yet he saw the whole thing...seems unlikely

I know, I'm bored

havent seen this

thought that men running round oiled up in tight shorts seemed a little homo erotic

I went and saw this with the Girlfriend.

She loved it for all the Pecs and six packs on display.

I loved it for the Titty scenes (quite a few actually!) and the extreeme violence!

Will definately be picking this movie up on Blue ray!

this. is. SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that line, and the boobs, made the whole movie for me.
