well I was initially just stating that I hadn't seen anything like that amount of films this year...but now you mention it..I'm Livid about the lack of Seagal-ness.. I make an effort to watch Under Siege at least 3 times a year

I'm saving it for a special occasion, probably 31st August when access to the caf isn't available due to the millions of transfer window muppets trying desperately to get involved. On that day Steven Seagal will be my saviour.

jeez ole! thats like 3 a day near enough every single day!

It's part of your job though isn't it?
Some days I'd watch 3, some days I'd watch 5. Some days I'd have to work. It's considered research in my opinion. I used to have a list of all the movies I watched, but seemed to have lost it in one of my moves.

Nope, i'd never really been into films and realised i'd missed out on seeing a lot of 'classics' - so i made it my mission to get as many seen as possible.

So far it's going quite well

Fair enough, surprised at the Godfather series and scarface being new to you mainly.

What did you think of Lucky Number Slevin?

His cameo in Executive Decision eclipses all his other work.

These are some of the ones in your original list that I've seen in the cinema this year

Wolverine - Thought it was alright, you get what you expect.

State of Play - Trying to be much too clever in parts.

Benjamin Button - Surreal and enjoyable.

Damned United - Fantastic, the acting was quality.

Knowing - Worst film I've seen in a long time. Numberwang anyone?

Transformers 2 -

Looking for Eric - Again, good acting and a real nostalgia flick.

Angels & Demons - Girlfriend made me see it with her, better than I expected.

Notorious - Didn't really like watching him have sex.

The Hangover - Cheap slap-stick humour. Enjoyed it!

Gran Torino - Eastwood was brilliant, poignant storyline.

Duplicity - A bit shit.

Step Brothers - Better than I thought it would be, but still not good.

Tropic Thunder - Not as good as I'd have hoped, girlfriend made me see it (again)

I enjoyed it, was a good story and I thought Hartnett was pretty good in it.

Did you like it?

Yea I thought it was great, generally anything with Morgan Freeman in is set to be good, but I was pleasantly surprised by Hartnett too.

If you haven't seen The Usual Suspects then I recommend it.

I've seen quite a few this year.. I've been finishing off the IMDB Top 250 and I started this year with about 50 to go and have about 5 more to go now, I've not seen much cinema though, maybe 10 at most so far.

From your list my favourites would be Godfathers, No Country for Old men and Notorious (If it's the Hitchcock classic that is, not the rapper).
