Edgbaston, The Oval, Lords, Headingley and Sophia Gardens in Cardiff instead of Old Trafford.

That i dont understand. Headingleys pitch has always been terrible...
 
I am happy with Sophia Gardens, i think i may pop up and watch a game there... if am alive in 2009...

I think Old Trafford would have been a better venue though.
 
This has been coming. Old Trafford's infrastructure is run down and their attendances have been poor.
 
I like Craven Cottage. One of the few grounds that still has a lot of history. Great main stand designed by Archibald Leitch and I love the cottage.

Craven Cottage > most grounds.

Redevelopment of Headingly has been in the news a fair bit in recent months, perhaps they were impressed with plans enough to be rewarded like this. Still I would have gone with Trent Bridge or the Rose Bowl.
