Have that Convicts.

Bring on the test.

hammered them too.

my aussie cobber wont reply to my texts :)

Not a huge fan myself, but watching them walk off in a huff after each ball they were out made it good enough for me.

It's probably mad the Aussies angry JSV. Not what you want really with a test series coming up!

They'd better not manage to make Cricket dramatic in the slightest way, otherwise the crowd would be in danger of getting exited. It'd just end in tears

i dont think they give a feck.
They wipe the floor with england every ashes.
20/20 is for the kids.

The Aussies lost again yesterday, this time to a Graeme Smith and Sanath Jayasuriya inspired Somerset in a full 50over match...

"I am pretty embarrassed :o," Ponting said "We'll have our work cut out against Bangladesh on Saturday the way we are playing."

Can someone explain what this 20/20 thing is?

Is it 20 overs only?
20 men aside?

Never seen it. When does the Ashes start?

Its 20 overs. Its been played over here a couple of times. Good entertainment. Australia played crap and are fired up. England in for battering i reckon

This 20/20 thing sounds stupid ... i doubt the Aussie's even care.

It's a spazzy attempt to make Cricket dramatic, but it doesn't work, because Cricket is just rubbish

It's rubbish. I went to a game once. Everyone just nattered away whilst slowly getting pissed, which is fair enough, but no one was paying the slightest bit of attention to the game. Then suddenly everyone started leaving
"What's going on" I asked
"It's finished"
I was hardly aware it had started

you're gay.

Its a good game. But i can understand why some people find the tests boring. The one day games are great and i try to go to them when theyre held in brisbane. Great entertainment.

They definatly cared about 20/20 when they beat the Kiwis.

 How long has this 20/20 thing been going on then if we have played this before?

At an international level the Aus.v.NZ match was the first in February. Allegedly the Aussies, Saffers and Kiwis want to introduce it into their domestic schedules as they're losing young fans to Super12 rugby.

It's been played in English domestic cricket for a few years (the first match was Friday the 13th of June 2003 I beleive. I remember I had an A-Level Law exam and did shockingly well considering the day, then went home to watch this new 20/20 thing and spilt salsa all over my mum's new beige carpet fitted the day before:o).

It's now being expanded with some Entrepreneurs with funding from some Asian TV Channel setting up some kinda masters tournament where retired internationals will play a tournament against each other in Bermuda. That'll happen next spring although I can't see the appeal in it.

Back to 50 over cricket and Bangladesh have beaten the Aussies!

A classy knock (understatement) by young Mohammad Ashraful has helped Bangladesh win the game... Looks like Ponting was right after their defeat by Somerset when he said Australia would have their work cut out against Bangladesh! :D
