What strikes me is how "normal" footballers were in those days, in many of the shots the houses were nice but nothing a typical Doctor etc couldnt afford.

Now, even an average player in the PL, lives like a king. Must be galling for "very good" players in the 80's now, to be on their arse financially whilst.......
