Did anybody catch this, it really wasn't what i expected. I thought it was going to be just a straight up pisstake of the news but they actually did some half decent interviews and had a pretty good little debate about tuition fees.

Brooker's bit on Sarah Palin was my personal highlight.

10 O'Clock Live - 4oD - Channel 4

I thought it was alright, better than what I was told to expect. Its got a fair bit of potential... don't rate the chick though but Brooker and Mitchell produced some pretty biting segments and Carr can always raise his game if he has to. More interaction with the audience would also be advised just so we can guage whether they're just happy clappin seals or people worthy of being on Question time.

I thought it was a bit crap. Nothing insightful and not particularly funny. Switched off half way through.

Well put bluntly it was, but I do like Mitchell, Brooker and Carr alot so I'm partial to giving them a bit of a chance to hit the ground running.

Charlie Brooker is excellent. The sketches with Jimmy Carr and Laverne's bits really don't work at all.

Stopped watching this weeks ago. Horrible format, horrible sketches and horrible, horrible set that looks like a windows screensaver. Not to mention that any program that shows the audience is generally awful.

Terrible waste of talent and Lauren Laverne.

i wanted to like this but I just cant - too many cooks spoil the broth or something

Channel 4 always seems to come back and try those shows where 'comedians' sit on swivel chairs only inches away from the audience and deliver 'hilarious' rants which the other panellists politely applaud while waiting for a break in conversation so they can butt in and reel off a few minutes of (allegedly) unscripted material.

Actually I'm thinking of just one show; The Bubble. And it was on BBC. But it was really fecking shit.

It's crap. I generally love Charlie Brooker and Jimmy Carr but I don't like the format at all. Both of these characters perform much better alone aswell.

David Mitchell is quite a good interviewer but isn't funny in the slightest and as for Lauren Laverne.....she can go feck herself. Can't stand her.

To me, this show can't make up it's mind what it wants to be. I stopped tuning in after the third broadcast but caught last nights episode and remembered why.
