He is good, not CL-winning good or anything, but good. He is a bit o a prick at times, too.
 
Is there any team in the world that makes more profit in transfers than Porto ? Even their manager went for a world record fee !

Great squad player, will always put in a good shift and work his socks off for the team. Vilas Boas knows what he is getting as well... last time a Porto manager brought some lads along with him he didn't do too badly.
 
How did the former Porto players do? :lol:

How much is he going to cost? When Liverpool were looking at him I thought Porto were asking for a lot of money

Wasn't he the one who kicked someone and then ran away ala Puyol and dived in the next play and got the rival sent off? Perhaps he just looks like him :nervous:

They're selling Malouda also though. He can play in both as a left back and left midfielder. So he's more of Zhirkov in that respect.

Ah I see, they'd hope he'll turn out better than Zhirkov then eh.

Still not convinced about Chelsea's full back options at all. Cole aside, they've got pretty poor options; Bosingwa, Ferreira and a centre half (Ivanovic).

Along with Terry he owned Premiership strikers for a good couple of years. Every time they had a corner against us it looked like he would score.

Have no idea what incident you refer to. Looks out of character though.

30M would be insane money, no way he is worth it. More useful than Andy Carroll though, mind.
 
He wasn't called for the European Super Cup game tomorrow so it's very likely he'll end up going somewhere. He's not worth 30 million euros but that's his clause and I doubt, now that Porto's relations with Chelsea soured, that they can get him for much less than that.
