Fantastic! Don't think the score was flattering, great performances throughout and a huge milestone passed.

Great stuff! Spurs were pretty terrible so I was confident from the start really.

Get in! Great match, they were really up for it! Fantastic to see.

Garcia fantastic and Toones goal was something else. Thought Naalsund had a great match as well, her assist for the 4th goal was cheeky.

Spurs doing a Spurs is universal, it seems.

Fantastic work from the team, absolutely great win!

The first team may be shit but the U18's and the ladies are doing it. Congratulations to the team!

Just home from Wembley. What a magnificent day. United fans were fantastic throughout, in full voice. Brilliant.

Congratulations, a fantastic win and super goal by Toone.

Really good fan turnout considering the game at OT the same afternoon.

A sizeable increase. Still feels a bit low, though. How much will the winning male team bring in?
I guess we'll find out when the men's team bring the trophy back to Old Trafford, who do we play?

£2m if you win the final. So about 4m overall.

The real difference is that the 800k+ for winning the WFACup could be close to 10% of the women's total team budget and maybe 20% of the total wage bill for players and coaches etc.

That is a good point. Hopefully we put it to good use this summer.

I've only watched United live like 10 times but that was by far the best time.

So so happy for this team, so many of these girls have worked insanely hard for a few years now and so it’s nice to have this special moment. That performance was so so pleasing as well, good to have a united team boss a final like that

I'm still buzzing to this result. To think that the current team only began to exist 6 years ago and then win a first senior trophy, it says a lot about how much effort those women had to put up over the years with so many ups and downs along the way.

The match had its share of nervous moments as expected of a cup final when the scoreline is still 0-0. But as soon as Toone fired that missile in the top corner right before halftime, I had a good feeling that the floodgates would open up and it is what happened in the second half. Fantastic victory and may this team enjoy the taste of glory more and more times ahead.

Hope you enjoyed your day. :D
Excellent stuff! You must be over the moon.

Jealous you got to see that.
Thanks! Absolutely incredible feeling to see us finally win our first major trophy especially given how this season has gone. It was scorching in the stadium though, I can’t imagine what it was like playing in that heat in such a big game. It felt like the game was drifting until that screamer from Toone! Then the second half was just so good. As well as we’ve played all season. I was lucky enough to go last year as well, and that was special despite the result. This was even more special. And this group of girls absolutely deserves it!

Great day for United and for these players.

It's easy to argue that Spurs didn't show up but they had to beat City to get to the final and they drew with us at LSV.

We kept them pinned back from the start. To the point where you start worrying that we might come to rue the missed chances and the pressure that didn't lead to a chance.

Then, just as everyone was starting to think that we were just winding down the clock to halftime, Ella pounced. Lovely work to open the gap in the defence and a beautiful shot. Delighted for her. You could see how much it meant to her as well. Now she needs that goal at OT - next weekend would be a good moment for that.

Fair to say Spurs crumbled in the secondhalf. Not helped by Naz going off injured. Also fair to say that Spurs without Clinton are not the same as Spurs with Clinton.

Garcia a good choice for POTM - another excellent performance from her. She's got skills of course, but she's a worker as well and both parts of her game were on display today. She deserved those goals.
