It was bleaker under Ralf. At least now we have somebody that’s actually interested in the club running things and hiring people that know what they’re doin. On paper at the very least.

I know the Silmarillion has some corny stuff in it, but I thought the Aragorn/Arwen stuff was well done though. It’s the forbidden love shite in the Hobbit trilogy I was mainly referring to.

I didn’t really rate him when he was at Chelsea and was quite bemused when we signed him. Odd transfer, really. We signed him based on the (undeserved) hype.

There's little faith in any new LOTR shows/movies as everything since the PJ trilogy has been garbage. No doubt a new film will have it's share of CGI elf acrobatics and cringey love stories.

The price of PL players depends on who’s buying. For us, they’re expensive.

There’s not really any point in bringing an interim in now, unless they think there’s a better chance in the final. And that’s not exactly a given.

My view is different. There were a fair few people on here against him being appointed permanently from the beginning, and they became more and more outlandishly critical of him. Lots of claims that Ole was clueless, the coaches were clueless, the team was great and the players were saving him...
