It's already happened to us in the past (not qualifying at all for Europe). I would rather that be the case than playing in the Conference league and what comes with it, that's my opinion. You can call it entitled if you want, I did acknowledge...
I never said I wouldn't want to win the competition if we were in it, I said I'd rather we don't qualify for it. It's a stain on the club to be in the competition in the first place, whether you want to admit it or not.
None of us aspire to...
Conference league is embarrassing. I get we've fallen off hard but playing in that competition is a real joke. Would rather finish outside whatever position it is to qualify for that
I have a feeling we shock some people here. I'm getting the same vibes from this fixture under LVG's last season. Only difference is there's not random youngsters from the academy playing.
Mind you, I actually don't care if we lose given...
Not gonna say much on the actual game cause it's just standard now and is the harsh reality of what this current United side are.
I think it's quite obvious, we're just going through the motions with this team/manager. There's not a lot to look...
I agree the result was entirely predictable but not the scoreline.
I just expected whatever players we did have on that pitch to show some fight and not cave in as badly as we did. Then again, as you said, this is the reality
You think so? Maybe I am, but I don't think teams with injuries would lose this badly. Forget the scoreline for a minute, we don't even look like a team with a system/know how of what we want to do as a team.
Injuries are a factor, of course. However, a team decimated with injuries doesn't lose 4-0. There's a systemic issue here. Manager needs questioning at the very least.
