  1. Rasmus Højlund | 2023/24 Performances

Seems like he has been well managed the last couple of games, hope those goals help his confidence.
  2. VAR and Refs | General Discussion | May 15: Premier League clubs to vote on proposal to scrap VAR from next season

The easiest complication to fix is getting rid of the "clear and obvious" stuff. It just adds further second guessing to a situation that doesn't need it. If it looks like it should have been a mistake on a decision in the box, or a red card, then give it on review, don't worry about guessing if...
  3. Bruno Fernandes Out?

He wouldn't be top of the list of my players to move towards the exit, but if a big money offer comes in then I think it needs to be considered as I don't think we have too many players who can command a fee that can help trigger a team/squad overhaul.
  4. McKenna or Tuchel?

Well that's partly the point. If seasoned media operators with incredible CVs are getting a very tough time during rough spells of performance then what chance does a novice have? Unless the decision makers are convinced that the novice is very special then I don't see how it works. Yea...
  5. McKenna or Tuchel?

I just don't see how McKenna could be the answer. He would get destroyed by the media the second the form hits a rough patch. He looks like a very good coach, but the credit isn't in the bank yet to get through the inevitable rough spells that the club will be going through the next couple of...
  6. Ange Postecoglou | New Spurs boss on 4 year contract

I like him a lot. But some of the posts from people talking about how he turned Spurs around in the first half of the season were mad and massively premature, agenda driven or not. I think he is as good a bet as any to get Spurs in the right direction, but it's a big job. From the outside...
  7. Aston Villa appoint Unai Emery as manager

Will be interesting to see who Monchi targets now they have Champions League as an added incentive for potential incomings.
  8. Oliver Glasner

Best to wait until next season before making minds up on him I would think. He came in when Olise and Eze were fit together for a spell, which really ups the level of that Palace side. It's more difficult to keep it going than it is to get off to a good start.
  9. Rasmus Højlund | 2023/24 Performances

His movement and inability to get space is likely more the issue than players not looking to pass to him. It's similar when when we are under the cosh and look to get out and up the pitch, he is rarely where he should be to at least contest those balls or even occasionally win one. Unless there...
  10. Amad Diallo | 2023/24 Performances

Tidy on the ball, we know he has that though. Really needs to develop his game off the ball and how he can hurt teams. Should have got more game time the last few months anyway as the other options are pathetic.
  11. Chelsea 2023/24 season thread.

Chelsea finding some of those Barca-esque levers to start pulling.
  12. Wayne Rooney believes some United players pretending to be injured

I wouldn't think this is some revelation, another part of the culture that needs changed at the club.
  13. Rasmus Højlund | 2023/24 Performances

    Very disappointing again.
  14. Victor Lindelöf | 2023/24 Performances

We can't set the bar that low though, otherwise every other club is going to come and lowball United for all of our deadwood. Interested to see how it plays out.
  15. Victor Lindelöf | 2023/24 Performances

Good test of the new regime if we can get a decent fee in for him - otherwise adding a further year to his contract looks like a waste.
