  1. The US Democratic Party - The Road to 2026 and 2028

    Not a serious country.
  2. Club ownership | Senior management team talk

Happy to leave the chat there, hope you are more right about him than I am.
  3. Club ownership | Senior management team talk

Agreed with most of what you have taken away from the interview. Appreciate you articulating it so well too. I hope we are both wrong too.
  4. Club ownership | Senior management team talk

Ok, thanks for the response. If I misrepresented him talking about the club running out of cash by Christmas, I apologise. But I still think he knows what he is doing when he says that. Such a telling part was when talking about the ticket price increases, the way he squirmed and tried to...
  5. Club ownership | Senior management team talk

His agenda at the minute seems to be to cut everything at the club to the bone. We have been losing money, yes. But he has no interest at all in talking about the reasons for the losses of the years he was talking about. 2 of the years were hugely affected by covid, but him mentioning that...
  6. Club ownership | Senior management team talk

I come away from that interview pretty worried about the club. Ratcliffe came off like a total snake oil salesman to me. Fair play to Neville holding him accountable on some things, but Ratcliffe was determined to get some lines out there that just don't tally with events or only serve to...
  7. Club ownership | Senior management team talk

Only about six minutes into the overlap interview and a bit sickened by it already. Don't see how this will help things at all.
  8. Rasmus Højlund | 2024/25 Performances

Can't help but feel Obi would have been more likely to get a goal off the bench. Can understand why the manager brought Hojlund on instead, didn't want to totally kill him. That chance that was handed to him on a plate summed up Hojlund for me. Will never be good enough.
  9. Diogo Dalot | 2024/25 Performances

He is not good enough and never will be. I anticipate he will get a new contract shortly.
  10. The Trump Presidency - Part 2

Musk seems to have his ear anyway, when Bannon tried to to bite back against Musk's plans on cuts and visas Trump made it clear who he was listening to in that case. Obviously Trump wants to keep Musk onboard until after the mid-terms at the very least, to scare anyone who would dare speak out...
  11. The Trump Presidency - Part 2

Seems to me that they mostly just go to heel depending on what Trump says. Apart from Musk and Putin, who seem to have his ear. Which people do you think are having an influence on his decision making?
  12. Joshua Zirkzee | 2024/25 Performances

I think he would have to play as a 9, but with plenty of legs and pace around him to stretch teams. He could act as a good forward pivot to work around, but yea this system we are now using has no place for that sort of player.
  13. The Trump Presidency - Part 2

It is so hard at this point to look at what is going on and not see it as the US being run from Moscow now. Is there a more charitable view that could help with the reasoning for these actions?
  14. Joshua Zirkzee | 2024/25 Performances

There's a player in there, definitely. We are not playing a system that will ever play to his strengths though. So the question is then how can a young player be signed for good money by the new football operations team, only for that team to then appoint a manager who doesn't have a role for...
  15. The Trump Presidency - Part 2

    Nope, you've got it.
