He's had about two or three months of top form out of the last three years or so. Him getting dropped is an obvious choice. It's just taking the pundits a really long time to work out what's going on with Rashford.

I'd say quite the opposite. Outside of Pep very few managers properly rotate anymore. They rarely use all their subs. Squad players really are squad players. If he wants a proper amount of games, which he should at his age, United are the better option clearly.

Giggs gave the ball away loads trying to create. In fact the older he got the more he gave it away. There was no reigning him in.

Surely its better to have a midfielder who might misplace some passes but actually wants to be on the ball. As opposed to a midfielder whose weakness is their unwillingness to receive and pass.

I think the manager and team need to realise this. We've got a quick, strong willing runner up top but we're playing him like he's John Hartson.

But Makele and Kante were strong and quick. Even Scholes was no pushover physically and its forgotten but actually pretty sharp over the first few yards when younger. Is Gomes? I haven't watched him for a while but he always seemed pretty weak and fairly one paced.

Ole for 3 months and then the same poor form under Rangnick. Followed by the same poor form under ETH. That's three managers he's under performed for. I'd say there's one constant here.

He's just been injured. Weekend was his first availability since. And obviously since he came to the club he's had terrible luck with injuries. Missed a lot of youth football. An ankle injury put him out for a full year soon after he signed.

I said managers will want to play the same two CB's. Not that they definitely will be able to. But if injuries are the concern Kambwala isn't the answer. He's the most injury prone of the lot it seems.
