    This was a transfer that worked for both sides. His competition in UTD would have been Bruno and Amad. We just didn't need him and we needed the money. Glad to see Mctominay playing regularly and doing well.
  • Is his salary really as high as it has been described? One would assume that the salary would be filled with clauses like playing in Europe, goals etc, all of which is down now, meaning he would at most be paid a portion of his purported salary?

    What a wonderful player he is! Came here as a youngster known for his ability on the ball. But what really impresses me is his tenacity and workrate. Sounds humble and very grounded too.
