Why only English players when half the academy plays for other nations? Seems such an arbitrary line to just dismiss the achievements of 10+ players. We also had 3 players starting above their age group for Scotland u19s this week.

Ryan Hopper, was released when he was 14. More famously known as a private coach who has done sessions with many of the top academy players in Manchester and first team players like Rashford and Bruno.
Harrison has more senior experience and more experience at u21s and u18s level too.
The only experience Mee beats him at would be an extra 3 years of sitting on a bench.
Graczyk was on the bench for the u21s on Friday.
Zidane Iqbal was a bench player for our u18s and couldn’t even make the squad for the big matches. But no, it was that 1 minute cameo against Young Boys that destroyed his chances of making it big.

Biancheri is a striker who is significantly weaker when played wide. Garnacho is a winger.
Biancheri isn’t remotely a strong runner with the ball. He virtually never goes on a lengthy run like Garnacho.
