I'm torn - it's been a crazy good year for his first year in professional football. Maybe a reset and rest is what he really needs. But, I just love watching him play and playing at that level may actually be important in his development. Every player's different in that sense I guess.

I disagree - Martinez aggressive play allows you to play a higher defensive line which fixes the massive gap between midfield and defence. We still need a top DM but it wouldn't have been that shambolic with Licha and Varane fit.

If he's cheap (negotiate the buy clause down) then I'd take him as a squad option. He's too limited to be a starter. Played really well yesterday and has shown in recent weeks he should've played more during the season.
