  1. Southgate replacing ETH? Yes or No?

Or the most clever. Get all of us idiots onside in one fell swoop.
  2. Southgate replacing ETH? Yes or No?

feck it, let's do it. Southgate is the only appointment that could unite us all. Sure it's a unity of hate, but like I said, feck it. It's the bravest move INEOS could make.
  3. Film Kingdom of the Planet of The Apes

I've been hesitant towards this, largely because every time the ad for it comes on they have the quote "the best one in the series." The first one was okay and the others pretty meh, being kind. Is it a good film in its own right?
  4. The hokey cokey doesn't matter

The problem is that it's not just straight after a match. And it's not about the team at all. From my experience, nobody hates a Manchester United fan more than a Manchester United fan. And so the act of being one on this forum opens you up to the kind of insults you'd maybe experience once or...
  5. Manchester United vs Arsenal

There was a foul o. Garnacho as he shot, but he seemed fixated on a challenge just before.
  6. Manchester United vs Arsenal

I sometimes think that Gary Neville is watching a different sport.
  7. The hokey cokey doesn't matter

Thank you for this. I don't think I've ever seen you post, and I imagine it's because you're far better at avoiding wading into the sludge than I am. Eloquent and able posters like yourself do not want to talk about football on a football forum because the loudest voice wins, and unfortunately...
  8. The hokey cokey doesn't matter

I don't like making threads because I generally don't want to put myself in the middle, but I felt I should probably have a go, particularly since it's been made clear that fighting for balance in ordinary discourse is an invitation to the gangplank. Ten Hag - in, out, shake it all about, it...
  9. Unpopular Opinion | Not sacking Ten Hag

I don't think I can argue this point either unfortunately. There are some points in here I think are maybe fair and some that I am probably not able to say anything about. We'll have to leave that there unfortunately.
  10. Unpopular Opinion | Not sacking Ten Hag

I would love to continue discussion, but unfortunately I don't know you. Which means I don't know whether or not continuing this discussion will lead to you calling me names. All I know is that if you do decide to do so, it will be me that suffers the consequences.
  11. Unpopular Opinion | Not sacking Ten Hag

I don't believe that this is a fair representation of my argument, not the facts, but since I can't argue with you, we'll just have to leave it where it lies.
  12. Unpopular Opinion | Not sacking Ten Hag

He was always ill or injured, which is why he completed 90 minutes just twice. We signed a left back who'd spent most of his last season injured to replace our injured left backs. But I'm not able to argue with you so unfortunately we'll just have to leave it there.
  13. Unpopular Opinion | Not sacking Ten Hag

It is a very influential propaganda department that forces the club the play with over 40 combinations at the back, with no left back at all for around 75% of the season, and without his key players combined ever having been available. He'll probably go, but he has definitely been dealt a bad hand.
  14. Unpopular Opinion | Not sacking Ten Hag

Ok. I can't argue with you so we'll leave it at that.
  15. The left-back market…

He does kind of scream "obvious buy." But given that he's at Girona, with or without the release clause, it could be a much more difficult deal to do than you might think. City probably already have they're hooks in him.
