    I considered Timber as he’s very similar to Kounde - probably a marginally weaker defender but stronger on the ball. Frustrates me that we missed out on Timber under ETH, he’d be perfect for us right now.. Saka at RM is a shout.

    Yeah fair enough on Valverde he probably does trump Mac Allister. I’m just a massive fam of Mac Allister, think he’s an incredible player and a bit of an unsung hero for Liverpool this year.

    In hindsight, Asencio would have been a great option for us on loan in Jan. Regardless of Amad’s injury he would have provided a goal threat from the AM position, and allowed us to play Amad more at RWB where IMO he excelled more.

    Just signed a fairly lengthy contract extension sadly. Means he absolute won’t be cheap anymore. Shame as I thought he could be an interesting option too until I learned that.
