  2. UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

Yeah the teams are shattered at the end of 90, and rather than go for broke they just play conservatively. Need PSG to buck that trend here as surely they won’t be getting the better of Alisson on penalties. Although Donarumma’a quite good at them right?
  3. Championship 2024/25

It’s mad that Meslier’s still there, surely even a youth keeper is more reliable at this stage!
  4. FA Premier League 21/02/25 - 23/02/25

Alexander Arnold’s guaranteed to give a goal away today, looks just as sleepy and overconfident as he was against Villa.
  5. Marcus Rashford | 2024/25 Performances | loan to Villa

Nope, none of those things. Because they’re all very specific to Rashford. What I was talking about was the comparison to Sancho, where he has a few good weeks and then “reverts to dogshit”. There’s nothing similar in their performances and the problems they have are very different. The fact you...
  6. Marcus Rashford | 2024/25 Performances | loan to Villa

This scenario isn’t remotely similar to Sancho and you’d have to be blind with hatred / disgust / whatever not to see that.
  7. Marcus Rashford | 2024/25 Performances | loan to Villa

It wasn’t the fan base that hooked him at half time in the Porto game or left him out of the squad for weeks. Multiple independent judges had serious issues with him. Obviously the environment he was in contributed to that.
  8. Chido Obi

He was really bad but at least he had enthusiasm and the players wanted to involve him. Right now Hojlund is just a black hole that everyone’s avoiding, and every action he takes is done with such strain. That has an impact on how we play even when he’s not getting the ball.
  9. Marcus Rashford | 2024/25 Performances | loan to Villa

I do agree that people have a very negative perception of Rashford now and are looking to accentuate his weak points at Villa, and he was used as a scapegoat here. I also agree Rashford was really dangerous in that Porto game for sure, and we’re desperate for a player like that right now. It...
  10. Marcus Rashford | 2024/25 Performances | loan to Villa

He’s clearly playing better for Villa than he did for us, simply because Villa are a better team and he gets better possession. But to show so little commitment or at least awareness when your career’s nosediving and your team’s under pressure is shocking. Especially when you’re competing with...
  11. Alejandro Garnacho | 2024/25 Performances

He has an excellent first touch, particularly in taking it mid-flight. Rashford’s wasn’t that great. But yeah other than that he hasn’t got much to shout about.
  12. Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

I’m taking the optimistic view and hoping necessity is the mother of invention. Zirkzee and Hojlund will have to play together more often, it’ll make it easier for them to root for each other to get out of their goalscoring slumps, and they might well strike up a partnership that makes the...
  13. Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

It’s definitely stubborn to stick to a formation no matter what; poor performances, poorly suited players, injuries. But hasn’t he openly admitted he is a stubborn person? Stubbornness has positive aspects to it. It’s good that he has a sense of clarity and it’s good that this enables him to...
  14. La Liga 2024/25

Only in football are players so entitled and unable to control their emotions that they feel that shouting obscenities at referees non-stop is a totally normal and healthy way to act…
