They did, the pitch was superb and Atlético still won. It's not like Barcelona is crying afterwards, they did before and they were right (acc. to UEFA decision at least). No Barcelona fan by the way, just saying. Also look when the article was published:

Just saw that you opened the thread "Barcelona complained to UEFA over length of grass at Vicente Calderon". Just wanted to clear a misunderstanding of you and all the others who commented there: Barcelona didn't complain after the game, but before the game and the UEFA did order Atlético to mow and wet the pitch.
