Brentford Football Club (nicknamed The Bees) is a professional football club based in Brentford, West London, England. The club was founded in October 1889, as the local sportsmen's latest attempt to form a permanent football or rugby club in the town. By 1896, Brentford had joined the London League, progressing to the Southern League in 1898 and entering the Football League in 1920. Upon the appointment of Harry Curtis as manager in 1926 came the beginning of Brentford's most successful period, with promotions in 1933 and 1935 taking the club into the top-flight of English football for the first time in its history. Three consecutive top-six finishes in the First Division established Brentford as one of the top clubs in England, but a decline began in 1938 which led to the club's relegation back to the Third Division South by 1954.

Recently, after two failed playoff campaigns in six Championship seasons, Brentford were promoted into the Premier League after victory in the 2021 Championship play-off Final (reaching the highest level of the English football pyramid for the first time since the 1946–47 season). Brentford's main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers. The club have a long standing rivalry with Fulham. In the past this fixture has been marred by crowd violence. Brentford's rivalry with Queens Park Rangers intensified in 1967, when Rangers failed in an attempted takeover of the Bees, a move which, had it succeeded, would have seen Rangers move into Griffin Park and Brentford quit the Football League. Brentford play their home games at the Brentford Community Stadium.

We must play Amrabat in midfield, only one of Mount or Bruno, drop Onana and bench Rashford.

There's no bottom at the moment have no expectations for this current team and management.

Was about to google our next fixture… ffs was hoping for Luton or even better, Everton. At least the 3pm black out will save me from willingly watching this shit.

Football isn't that complicated but ten hag is trying to be way too clever. Let's go a bit simpler. Conceding too many goals? How about you try to solidify it with a more defensive set up? Rocket science, I know. How about let's drop the players who are playing like shit too. Let's play players closer to their actual positions too.

    Hojlund
    Garnacho Mount Antony
    Amrabat casemiro
    Dalot Maguire Varane Lindelof
    Altay
Anything else is being overly loyal to underperformers, overthinking things, trying to be too clever, not playing those who deserve it, etc.

Madness, Poundland Pep won't drop his two boys.

Frank must be erect right now. Could be no way back for ETH after this.

    100% agree with this

Our managers always do just about enough to hang on by the skin of their teeth until the season is officially dead. We'll smash them 1-0 to restore a glimmer of false hope

Please for the love of god get Ambrbat into the f*cking midfield for this game. Play Dalot at left back and lindeloff or someone right back.

    Rashford, Bruno and Onana out

    He has to.

At this trajectory he is out. He has to go for something new.

Yep, good post. I would still probably prefer Bruno to Antony, but this back 7 looks much better.

Nah Bruno needs benching. Antony is a RW. He may be average, but he's a RW who will hold width. When shit doesn't go well, you need to go to the basics.

Dropping players in mass is not the way to go. You are only going to be replacing good players who are struggling for form with ones who aren't going to perform much better in the long run.

I'd make two or three changes at most. Bring in Antony for Hannibal, maybe Maguire for Lindelof and find a place for Eriksen. Trust the players to find some form.

We must win! I'm gonna be there so they better fecking win!

Taking my mate with me so I have company to drown my sorrows in case we do something stupid, but I'm going to be positive! We absolutely need points this Saturday. Have to get it somehow.

Nothing less than a fecking win, Erik.

Lie, cheat and steal that 1-0 victory if needs be.

I can't imagine Ten Hag dropping Bruno and Rashford. He won't even drop one of them. Spineless manager who is not up to the job.

Hard to know where the next win will come from. team with zero confidence now after losing to a couple of average sides at home and Brentford will have to be very poor not to win against a side that aren't hard to score against and will gift you a goal scoring chances.

Tempted to switch my last man standing pick to Brentford at this point ha. Just curious to see how we go about screwing up this one.

The right thing to do but will never happen.

We absolutely cannot start Zayn Malik

He has to pick that back 4, move Amrabat into midfield and only pick one of Mount and Bruno. I think he has to stick with Onana as he needs that signing to work.

Fully agree with this. Ten Hag is failing just like his predecessor by playing the club favourites.
