I don't think it'd be worth it at all.I went for 0-0RomeroRest the new boys. Play Herrera, fellaini and Hernandez. Same team as our best 11 last season without de Gea and Rooney basically. Should be more then enough.

I think this is probably our best balanced front 4. We're going to see Rooney until he scores though. You just can't drop him for a game and expect him to regain his fitness and momentum. Could maybe see a compromise and have him behind Hernandez, but then you have to stick Mata wide.

Grind out a scoreless draw and progress to the draws..Memphis should be rested for this one he looked knackered in the second half today and he is to important for us to risk him getting injured this early in the season. Play Young, Herrera and Hernandez from the start they are all more then good enough to see us through this game.Periera and Herrera to play?I expect Carrick for Schweinsteiger definitely, maybe Felliani for Januzaj. Young for Memphis if he needs the rest.Love the champions league banner. Great idea niall and modpersons.1-2 for us I think. 4 much needed changes for me;
Young will offer some defensive security for us and speed on the flank (let him alternate sides with Memphis when neccessary)
Need more of a dynamic #9 rather than Rooney, hopefully rekindle the Rooney-Chicharito partnership of 2011, would be a big fan of Mata/Herrera playing in the hole but can't see LVG dropping Rooney.
Carrick starting ahead of Schweini, Carrick looks much more sharp at the moment.
If Van Gaal is certain that Dave is staying then he should be playing, it's not like Romero is being overworked anyway.
