    Crystal Palace Football Club (nicknamed CPFC, The Glaziers and The Eagles) are a professional football club based in South Norwood, London. Crystal Palace were founded in 1905 at the site of the famous Crystal Palace Exhibition building by the owners of the FA Cup Final stadium, who wanted their own team to play at the historic venue. When Crystal Palace were founded, they turned to one of the biggest clubs in the country at the time, Aston Villa, to seek advice. Villa helped the club in a number of ways, not least by donating their kit. As a result, Palace's colors were originally claret and blue shirts paired with white shorts, socks tending to be claret. They kept to this formula fairly consistently until 1938.

    The club initially played their home games at the FA Cup Final stadium which was situated inside the grounds of The Crystal Palace, but the First World War saw them forced to move out, and they enjoyed a number of seasons at both the Herne Hill Velodrome and The Nest. Although Crystal Palace have never won a major trophy, they have played in the First Division for the majority of their existence, finishing 3rd once, and losing the 1990 FA Cup Final to Manchester United. Crystal Palace play their homes games at Selhurst Park, and share sporting rivalries with South London neighbors Milwall, former tenants Charlton, and Brighton & Hove Albion.

    And because winning the Europa League next season might be the only path back into Champions League available to us after we finish 5th or 6th in the league next season
     
    Hopefully Norwich can get something from West Ham and then City beat them meaning there's nothing on this game for us.

    Glad the game is 2 weeks away, glad there's only one game to go. Don't really care about the result.
    Hopefully they don't add to many additional minutes.

    7 points is too much to make up. I'm happy to (likely) finish second after such a tough season to predict. If I had gone with my gut more times instead of listening to "leaks", I'd have had more 14+ points as my gut instinct was usually right compared to the so-called leaked lineup.

    and finally we arrive at the final game of the season. its fitting that we have to wait 2 weeks for the suffering to end. Will Ralf wake up finally or oppose the incompetent board demanding European football and play some youth? probably not.

    I would play the full U23s. Why ever not. If we get beat 5-0 then so be it. It should send a sobering message to the embarrassing first team.
     
    Pride will be the players’ motivation. Which means they can’t be bothered to show up for this match.
     
    Can we just give them the 3 points and not play the match? I just want this season to end.
     
    It’s come full circle for Ralf. Maybe we can try pressing for 45 minutes again.
     
    Is there any way for us to forfeit this match now so we can say that this season is finally over? What a fecking dumpster of a season
     
    Whatever the result may be, I just want to see a commited display.
     
    Not expecting much, a loss or draw but doubt West Ham can make us pay.

    I wonder what the players would do in the interim. Given the big gap until match, they might go on a holiday. All will be reported on social media. The perception will be awful.
