If the back four perform as they did for the final half hour today then we'll be okay. We'll always score anyway.

going to OT for this, really hope we continue from today with a convincing win

Predicting 4-2 United. Both teams with shite defences but great going forward (normally). Not sure if anyone will be back injury wise, I'm just hoping more then anything that herrera is fine and it was just a precaution today.

    De Gea
    Rafael McNair Rojo Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera di Maria
    Mata
    RVP falcao

Good thing is that Everton playing away in Russia on thursday night, should be tired for this early game.

With how our defence play today if they can replicate that them we've got less to worry.

Mata's time to shine now. We shouldn't miss Rooney too much (especially since he's usually awful against Everton) and we'll have RVP and Falcao up front.

Defence is a bit of a conundrum, part of me wants McNair to be awarded with another start but it'll be a very tough test for him. Just have to wait and see if any of our defenders are back. Carrick may be back too, I'd also like to see him play to bring a bit of calmness to the midfield especially if Herrera is injured.

McNair was fine against WHU but we need Jones, Smalling or Evans to partner Rojo up on this match. Does any of them going to be ready for this match?

Confident in a win. Today we proved before the red card how effective we are at scoring, and the defense proved themselves after the red card!

    3-0

Hopefully most of Evertons first team play in the Europa League match on the Thursday before.

They have to travel to Russia mid-week, come back late Thursday night and apparently Martinez has been prioritising Europa.

We should expect a win but it will be difficult. At least Rooney can be replaced with Mata, Herrera's injury is the concern though.

    De Gea
    Rafael McNair Rojo Shaw
    Blind
    Carrick di Maria
    Mata
    RVP Falcao
Subs: Lindegaard,Valencia,Thorpe(Wilson),Januzaj,Blackett,Pereira(Fellani),Fletcher (depends on fitness of those in bracket)

Is it confirmed that Herrera is injured and Carrick will be fit?

We need Carrick for this one, with or without Herrera, to calm things down. Could play him and Blind in a double pivot and give Di Maria some freedom, Mata to start too and then Van Persie-Falcao. Falcao to open his account with a hat trick please!

    Expecting

    De Gea

    Rafael -- Smalling - Rojo -- Shaw

    -----------Blind--------------

    -------Herrera -- Di Maria------

    ----------------Mata----------------

    -----------RVP ---Falcao-------------

If Herrera is injured I'd love for us to try a 4-4-2 diamond with Mata in the hole, Januzaj and ADM down the flanks, and RVP + Falcao up front.

It's risky but the end-product could be devastating.

We've been doing a 4-4-2 diamond. A diamond with 2 wide players like Januzaj and di Maria is something that only exists on fifa though.

    :(

Unless we tried a standard 4-4-2 with two defensive players in the middle (perhaps Herrera/ Fletcher and Blind) with the two mentioned wingers.

Either way, I just want us to try Adnan and ADM down the wings, I think it could be a great partnership.

You're asking for trouble my dear

Thursday night in Russia, Sunday 12pm game. Wow, they've been stitched up there

we#ll take any advantage we can though!!

They haven't exactly been playing well themselves.

Mata inn for Rooney might not be so bad

I wonder if Louis will try to fit Fletcher into the team, though
He was quick to sub in the vice captain after Rooney got sent off

    Is Blackett still suspended?

They're playing in Russia midweek and Mirallas is out for them as well. We should win this one.

Going for a 3-2 win in what will be a mental game. I can see Lukaku giving us a hard time if he's played centrally but we've got enough class to outscore them. If Hibbert is playing we should destroy them up the left. Hopefully Shaw will retain his place in the starting line up and that Ander is fit. He is quickly becoming our most influential player along with Di Maria in my opinion, great player.

Gonna say, a bit relieved that Mirallas won't be playing, I reckon he'd be the one to cause all sorts of trouble, should be a goal fest, nevertheless.
