    Crystal Palace Football Club nicknamed CPFC, and The Eagles, are a professional football club based in South Norwood, London; and were founded in 1905 at the site of the famous Crystal Palace Exhibition building by the owners of the FA Cup Final stadium, who wanted their own team to play at the historic venue. When Crystal Palace were founded, they turned to one of the biggest clubs in the country at the time, Aston Villa, to seek advice. Villa helped the club in a number of ways, not least by donating their kit. As a result, Palace's colors were originally claret and blue shirts paired with white shorts, socks tending to be claret. They kept to this formula fairly consistently until 1938. The club initially played their home games at the FA Cup Final stadium which was situated inside the grounds of The Crystal Palace, but the Frist World War saw them forced to move out, and they enjoyed a number of seasons at both the Herne Hill Velodrome and The Nest. Although Crystal Palace have never won a major trophy, they have played in the First Division for the majority of their existence, finishing 3rd once, and losing the 1990 FA Cup Final to Manchester United. Crystal Palace play their homes games at Selhurst Park, and share sporting rivalries with South London neighbors Milwall, former tenants Charlton, and Brighton & Hove Albion.

    Would be tempted to bring Memphis in on the right for this.
     
    I'm guessing Rooney is now a dead cert to start every remaining game. He slows us down so much with his play but Louis has a raging stiffy for him so I guess Lingard drops down, which to be fair is not the worst thing. However I'm dreading Rooney v Everton in cup as he is always garbage against his home club.

    Try Depay on the right wing. Martial on the left and Depay on the right with Rashford in the middle is something we have to try out.
     
    Similar to today, just palace are slightly less useless so might get something. Hopefully we rotate again with the semi's in mind, or at least give more time to those who need it like Valencia so he's sharp for Everton. Top 4 is basically gone after City won today so it means nothing.

    With the semi's on the weekend, it could be good to give him a little rest. Also would be a boost to Rashford as he'll know he's being rested for a cup semi final. Win-win.

    Wayne was our best player in the first half before he gassed out in the second half. Martial is better than depay and Mata's position on the right is perfect if Valencia plays. Valencia bombs forward allowing mata to cut in. Fellaini should be no where near - I don't think I've seen him hit a pass further than 10 yards
     
    I'd like to see Fosu-Mensah in for Rojo but I expect the back 4 to remain the same, just a couple of changes to the team from today.

     
    Didn't watch the Arsenal v Palace match today but I see Hennessey made 5 saves to hold Arsenal to a 1-1 draw. Looking at our recent matches v Palace it seems we haven't had that many shots on target against them recently. Anyone going to put money on us scoring 2 or more against them at at OT?

    It does seem every season since Sir Alex left we have either had a really good home or away record but been really bad in the reverse.

    Wasn't it under Moyes that our away record was impeccable but our home record was atrocious?

    Just what I said... We play on Wednesday, 3 days ahead of our FA Cup match vs. Everton and 4 days ahead of their FA Cup match vs. Watford.

    If we are looking at rotating, would they be looking at needing it as well? If so, could it affect the outcome on Wednesday in our favor since I imagine our squad players are a bit above theirs in quality.
     
    Rooney is a non starter for me, no point of playing a player that can barely last 45 mins at a decent level anymore. Herrera for Fellaini. Watching Fellaini chasing the likes of Zaha, Gayle and Bolasie will require a Benny Hill sound track to go with it.

    Ah I see. Sorry. Saturday I think. I guess you have a point.
    Edit: You're right. It is Sunday. Oddschecker have it as a Saturday fixture. They're wrong.
