Happy with that result overall. I was thinking 6 to 8 - nil once the lineups were announced so that's a decent result for us.

Did anyone honestly not see this coming?

A fecking embarrassment of a performance yet again from this lot, pathetic.

Got off easy, if you ask me.

But let me guess, "we played well and just unlucky".

As always after a disappointing defeat its important to keep level heads.

But I think it's probably time to just shut the club down and we all find something else to do.

They came, they took the piss out of us (again). Sick of it.

We are done. Dead and buried. Ten Hag is not turning this around but he will not be sacked anytime soon.

Can we get Rassie Erasmus in the dug out? He may not know much about football tactics but he will at least get the team motivated and ready to fight!

Dreadful.

Playing like a team full of strangers who met up in the carpark 5 mins before kick off.

Once again City took mercy on us when they could have gotten five or six. The last time it happened, it signalled the end of the manager's time here. Hopefully will be the case again.

Not wihhout chances against a City that were not that great.

If only we had the guts to actually go for it when we had those chances.

At full time we have to concede we have been completely outclassed and I am losing confidence in Ten Hag's ability to be successful for us.

Of course, a loss against City is never a good opportunity to make rash decisions. On we go.

We do not have one world class player at the club. Embarrassing for the so-called biggest club in the world.

As expected. Anybody can beat us at the minute, so City scoring three against us isn't even slightly a shock.

Shaw and Martinez couldn’t play so obviously we weren’t expected to play any kind of decent football and have a proper go. Once the manager has a fully fit squad with no injuries whatsoever we’ll fly up the league and maybe even reach a positive goal difference.

Players and fans complaining about the ref. As bad as each other. Over 70% of people on here are happy watching this rubbish so we get what we deserve. Ten Hag is obviously clueless as a coach

The worst thing about var is you can't even kick a cnut anymore. In past if you got outclassed you could at least flatten one or two and take the edge off it

They're miles ahead of us

Did anyone honestly expect anything different once the line ups were released?
