The club is a mess. We bring in a keeper and Mount for way over the odds when the midfield and attack had to be the priority. DeGea would have done us for a season after which he would have got the send off he deserved.
Now we are struggling to even bid for Amrabat because we have to sell players.
And on top of it all a farcical club sale.
I still wouldn't put it past us to turn this around in the second half, though.

Arsenal are in good form, 1 poor half doesn't change that. No one was criticizing Ten Hag for a poor wolves game. This is now a pattern not a poor half anymore. So it definitely matters and it's dumb to compare these situations.
What pattern? We were all over Forest in first half? Are we seeing some invisible patterns here?

Granted he is but his mentality is dreadful. He's such a frustrating player to watch when you know how good he is he just doesn't look like he can be bothered.

Yeah I agree he's frustrating but I'd take off Martial and Antony before I'd take off Rashford, at least he's shown he can do something.

Don't like people saying Forest's 2 goals were a 'fluke'. Those types of collapses have happened way too often to be a fluke and it's a fecking real problem. If the players could do the basics right and also hold their heads we'd be looking comfortable here.

Honestly believe that we need to move on from Rashford if we're going to get serious as a club.

He's too hot and cold and his body language is so poor at times
This isn't just a recent thing, it has been ongoing for 2-3 seasons now and one of the main reasons why some want him gone.

But he had purple patch and the Caf told us we were wide of the mark wanting him gone as usual. He'll score in an upcoming game and we'll be told the same again, but the underlying issues will remain.

We've responded well to the early shock, but teams that lose focus like that won't get anywhere.

Rashford has been terrible apart from the goal, I don't know what is he trying to do exactly. Antony has been awful as well. Got the ball in good positions over 10 times today and hasn't managed to make anything useful out of it, not a dangerous cross or anything, just nothing. Again, he is gonna get ETH sacked. Bruno has been really good. Cas will nick a goal.

Not sure what do in the 2nd half really, feels like we need a new forward line.

Pellistri should come on for Antony, but of course that won’t happen until the 70th minute.

Martial has been useless, but it’s only his 45 minutes. He needs another 45 minutes to prove how useless he really can be over 90 minutes, if only given the chance.

We look not ready. Mentally nor physically, that combined with zero structure and no clue how to create chances leads to that kind of performance

I saw the replay of Forest's shot near the end.

That's 3-1 to Forest if Taiwo doesn't block Gibbs-White's shot from going in the corner. Literally going in 100% and Onana isn't getting there. Outright good fortune that this is 2-1 going into H/T now.

I mean they had a fair bit of fortune with the first two goals.

The way things are going for us at the moment. Casemiro is missing open goals from 1 yard out, while their player scores a header without even jumping or knowing he was heading the ball.

At another game so not watching but horrified to see the opening 5.
At least we've got a goal back but I'm not sure anyone would confidently say we'll equalise from the way we've started this season.

The form we’re in right now Forest are more likely to score early in the second half and kill the game off than we are to equalise.

    Who has an assist?
You're making the mistake of thinking Rashford is judged on goals and assists, it's just vibes. If anything the more he contributes the more it proves to the Cafe how a better, completely unnamed player who'd presumably be being paid a lot less than Rashford and not cost very much, would be doing if we just sold Rashford and played them there instead.

I remember when we used to call players like Rooney and Mata slow. Can only say sorry at this point. Watching Eriksen and Casemiro wobble around trying to cut off passing angles and get close to players is just sad.
Dalot is pretty lost in his prefered position on the right, even more so when playing on the left. Brennan should really do more on that side playing against Dalot, Rashford and Eriksen most of the time.

Martial is still a million miles from a natural nr 9. Pretty good on the ball still but hasn`t got a scooby where to position himself in the box. Our attacking play doesn`t make it easy either of course. No one seems to know when and where to do anything. Just kick to Antony and Rashford and hope they can roast their defender.

Antony has not been that good to be honest.
forest let him have the ball because they know he’ll do nothing with it

Onana mistake was not exactly what I was expecting. Thought he get caught far off his line, but instead. He was doing everything we signed him not to do.

Why was Rashford the last line of defence for the first goal? Comical really. The one player who doesn’t “do tackles”

Pretty decent half, first 5 mins aside, funnily enough.
We are losing. At home. And Forest have been too content to sit back and give us possession. They should have had a third. It isn't positive.

What pattern? We were all over Forest in first half? Are we seeing some invisible patterns here?
How many chances did we create? Outside of the casemeiro chance we have done didly squat. Just having possession doesn't mean we have been all over them.

It’s not the tactics or new signings or any individual player. It’s the mentality. Walking everywhere, no urgency without the ball, no tracking runners from midfield, losing every single dual. Soft, lethargic and mentally weak players that can’t function as a team. Ultimately this has been the undoing of every manager post SAF. Seen this a million times before.

The club is a mess. We bring in a keeper and Mount for way over the odds when the midfield and attack had to be the priority. DeGea would have done us for a season after which he would have got the send off he deserved.

Stay at OT for an hour after the match and protest your owners.

Someone explain to me why is Casemiro so much attacking at United than he was at Madrid ? It's great when he scores but the counter affect is that it tires him

Wish people would stop making excuses for this shit, seems our fate in games depends from one specific moment, while ignoring that our football is pure turd and we are not capable to create more than one that specific moment in a game.

Full backs are so high that I would switch Dalot with Antony. Ask him to hug the left touch line providing real width and whip in left footed crosses. He has the energy to get up and down, and bring Sancho on at RW and ask him to do the same there letting AWB cut inside.

Risky but we have to go for it.
