So all in all you are agreeing with me, the takoever is going to have an impact.
Er, no the opposite.

I don't see how it should affect plans that have been in place for months at all.

Once the window opened and the takeover hadn't been finalised or even got close to being finalised then the club would/should have just moved forward with the plans they had in place.

1800 pages is a lot to read through. Anyone got a TL;DR to bring me up to speed? Seems quiet at the moment?

Qatari state will take over the club in next ten days but Glazers are gonna fek about, drag their feet and wreck the transfer window. Then EPL will fek us about some more over ownership rules.

Ahh, lovely. Seems a very United way to go about things.

I assume Newcastle are also subject to these rules?

They’ll do the new home shirt reveal on the 27th, let them get their clicks, let that die down a bit, a week or so, then bam!…4th July it will finally be announced that we will be independent from these arseholes.

If anyone doubted just how the Glazers view the club , the story that they are not prepared to sanction signings whilst they are making a decision on the sale of the club underlines that they have never had any interest in Man Utd as a football club since they commenced their bleeding of dividends and lack of spending on infrastructure .

They are almost a comical evil entity whose ongoing interest was how much they could extract, in essence absent property owners who didn’t care to upgrade much other than the window dressing as long as the property value increased.. it’s reached a stage where they can sell and run, if they can grab a bit more by somehow stagnating the balance sheet, they will. What terrible owners they have been.

Have hours passed since last night yet? Definitely feels like hours have passed.

We had a bid for Mount rejected yesterday.

*Ben Jacobs materialises*

‘While it’s true that some hours have passed since last night, it’s important to understand that the amount of hours needed to receive an update hasn’t yet passed.

My sources have made clear that the 92 Foundation remain cautiously optimistic - as does Jim Ratcliffe. Both bidders feeling quietly confident that the package they’ve offered will be chosen.’

They also said “could be” hours away - so could be an open ended number of hours away or could not be. The statement was very accurate.

If you were the highest bidder just put a bid in for Liverpool and threaten to walk over there unless they wrap it up this week. These feckers have zero respect for anyone.

And then the second highest bidder wins and you end up with Liverpool. You haven’t thought this through have you?

The Glazers must be laughing their socks off. Having two parties that keep raising the price of an asset that they've ran in to the ground.

In fact the Saudis got fekked about for months massively before eventually being allowed to buy Newcastle. Didn't it go to court or am I misremembering?

Well obviously according to reports, ETH is not happy about the situation because it is halting his planning for next season.
Ah yes, we should probably ignore those reports though.

If Jassim or Jim rocked up tomorrow at OT I don't see how it would change the clubs budget for this window.

I felt the same on Monday.. I hope your muppet’s intuition is stronger than mine!
Seems to me it's already happened - just that the Glazers are dragging feet about making it formal. If Jassim fails an EPL ownership test because (shock horror) he might be a front for the Emir then the Glazers are in a world of financial loss. So I imagine a lot of work is being done behind the scenes on risk management and keeping INEOS in play as a backup.

Not sure how the Twitter algorithm works and if its just me, but seeing quite a few mentions of fans not buying a shirt until the Glazers have gone. They've turned the comments off on the official United twitter account advertising the launch date. Things appear to be getting very awkward.

Just an announcement of who is going to be new owner would be something. I know it will take weeks to be fully completed

This has been me for literally years.

I Love both the away shirts this year and if they can feck off, properly, I’ll defo be buying one of those bad boys as a celebration / souvenir of their leaving.

I imagine many feel the same.

Call me crazy… but I reckon we get some news today or tomorrow. Like proper news.

Muppet’s intuition… I can feel it, something’s coming.

Hmmm. Recent track record isn't very promising...

Last Wednesday:
Have a feelin’ Friday’s gonna be an interesting day!
Last Friday:
I still think there’ll be some kind of further news this weekend…

Maybe blind faith, but I do!
Last Friday (again):
I still think we’ll get news / info of something further over the weekend / Monday.
If you just keep moving your 'proper news' horizon a maximum of a couple of days ahead each time, psychologically it always feels like you are on the cusp of something significant, even if you aren't.
